Can't see the pictures?

A few people have reported problems viewing the pictures on the www.southernrailway.net website. This is probably due to the higher than usual default security settings on the more recent MS Internet Explorer browsers supplied with MS Windows XP. It is very difficult to state exactly what each individual should do to their system to enable the viewing of the www.southernrailway.net pictures. This is because each individual system has differing settings and software. Just remember to note anything that you alter so that it can be changed back if necessary.

Some things to try....

Reset the security settings on Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > reset the privacy settings to low.
Check Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and ensure "show pictures" is checked.

You may also find that firewall settings sometimes have a 'Web' filter, this is designed to protect you from exposure to 'unsuitable' images but usually blocks all images. If you are using the Firefox Browser there are similar settings.

On the Sunbelt Kerio Firewall there is an option under Web > Enable Web Filtering - ensure this is unchecked.

You could also enter www.southernrailway.net into the I.E.trusted sites dialog - > Tools > Security > Click trusted sites > Sites button then add www.southernrailway.net into the dialog and click add - Make sure that the require server verification tickbox is turned off.
